Based on a pilot project, a computer infrastructure will be developed to reduce bureaucracy and to enable electronic documentation for legal requirements (drug document). Standardized interfaces between different data sources should help to ensure that data is only collected once. Further, meaningful key figures for farm comparison to the previous year and the estimation of potential for improvement compared to other enterprises are further developed. An app with an overview of withdrawal times and/or drug application documentation makes work easier. Computerized tools for the early detection of diseases and facilitation of precautionary measures are also part of the project. These can already be used by farmers in LKV-Herd Manager and for veterinarians in RDV4Vet. The project is supported financially by the Federal Ministry of Labour, Social Affairs, Health and Consumer Protection (BMASGK).
