The title of the project stands for digitization, data integration, detection and decision support in dairy, digitalization, data integration, data collection and decision support for milk production. Digitally supported agriculture is a rapidly growing area in a wide variety of production sectors. Collected data should be networked in the best possible way and, using state-of-the-art technologies and data analysis, further develop digital support for farm management in respect of better parameters for the breed. This can further improve animal health, animal welfare and product quality. In order to master these complex issues successfully, D4Dairy has built up a competitive network of 30 business partners and 12 science partners nationally and internationally. Partners are domestic and foreign universities, competence centres and research institutes, enterprises along the milk value chain (farmers, breeding organizations, milk processors, animal health services, interest representatives, etc.) and Austrian and international technology providers (sensors, feeding, climate measurement and data processing). The head of this consortium is Dr. Christa Egger-Danner (ZuchtData).
